So You wanna Teach a Facebook Live.
Um – you’re awesome. Teaching a Facebook Live doesn’t require being a knowledge expert, but rather someone who just has an experience or knowledge base to add to the community! Once you submit this form, you’ll receive an immediate (automated) confirmation email from heather@sugarcookiemarketing.com with your submission details along with a quick “how to go Live” tutorial. If you have any questions, you can reply to that email, and I’d be happy to help!
Thank you so much for making the Sugar Cookie Marketing Group and the baking industry as a whole a better place by sharing your knowledge with others – it means a lot!
Time 'n Date, Mate!
Sweet dog’diggity! Let’s get this on the calendar! Please note – your submitted time is reflected in EST – so, if you’re on the west coast, and you type 6PM below, that’d be 3PM your time.
Choose something that’s as close to your topic as you can find.
Sweet! Let's Get the Script Together!
The content below will help us build out your Live’s description. And, as you know with good marketing, good copy means more sign-ups!
This will be used in your Live’s event description. Remember – good copy compels. What will they learn? How will you cover it? What tools will they need? What websites will you be using? Answer this question: “If someone takes this class, what will they walk away knowing?”
Kick Backs and Affiliate Links
If you’re getting a kick-back from a vendor or sponsor or using affiliate links in which you’re paid commissions from purchases made from a link click, it’s important that we can disclose this to the attendees. If you’d let us know below, that’d be awesome (much like you). Note – if you post sponsored content, it *must* align with your Live topic, and it can *only* be posted in the event Live – you can feel free to post it in the Live description and in the comments.
Using affiliate links is fine, but we’ll need to tell class attendees that these links are affiliate and you stand to get a kick-back from link clicks.
Files and Final Notes
If you’d like me to include any photos in your submission or a supply list, shop list, or ingredients list – feel free to upload it here! You can upload more than one image. Also – please check off the “Check All” list – after you submit this form, you’ll get an email with some “How to Teach a Live” basics! If you have any further questions – you know where to reach me!
Do you need to upload any graphics, recipes, or instructions to go along with your Live? Upload it here – I’ll post it in the event description!
That's a Wrap!
Feel free to promote your Live in the SCM groups – people love to hear from the host! You’re also free to post in the event discussion section as well. If you want to promote on your social channels, just have your followers indicate that they’re there to watch your Live in their entry question – we’ll get them in ASAP. Your Live will be promoted in SCM on the date the event is posted, weekly on the podcast leading up to your event, and on the SCM page, Instagram feed, and Story the day of your event along with a reminder post in the group.
